The dream double date of Roughhouse Theatre and New Old Friends has been commissioned by Theatre Royal Bath’s Shakespeare Unplugged to premiere The History Cycle: Six English Kings (Richard II, Henry IV, V & VI, Edward IV and Richard III) as seen through the eyes of the world’s greatest playwright.
These two critically acclaimed companies have teamed up to forge one dynamic, fun and accessible sixty minute play. The action will span a century of this country’s history using the plots of Shakespeare’s eight historical masterpieces. The production will use the original text with contemporary additions.
