New Old Friends’ preview night of THE HAPPY COUPLE  went down very well, thanks to all who came. “Pure comic genius” -Venue, read full review here.

This show deals with a relationship: not a broken one, a dark one, an abusive or adulterous one, but a nice one. Between two people who love each other. They love each other at the start and all the way through to the end, but there is comedy to be had along the way in the things we do to our other halves. Oh, and ping pong naturally.

The Happy Couple is a riotous ride of flash-backs, sketches, daft songs and ‘out-there’ characters. New Old Friends previewed a work-in-progress version of the piece at The Rondo in June 2011 to great acclaim and are currently in negotiations with venues to take the four-star slice of “pure comic genius” to Edinburgh 2012.
